Application Guidelines

SANBE wants to provide opportunities for teachers to stretch beyond the expected to guarantee all SANBE learners achieve at high levels. That’s why we prioritize grant proposals that meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • High interest learning materials.

  • Hands-on materials that support core curriculum

  • Enrichment activities via assemblies, speakers for students, etc.

  • Enhances established curriculum.

  • Reaches a large number of learners.

  • Creates interdisciplinary, multi-classroom, or multi-age learning.

Please note: Grant requests for operating tools and expenses already funded by the district, transportation costs, professional development for staff, and previously funded grant programs are accepted, but given lower priority.
